I haver being "it", but always find them easier.

Entering a darkened room, I whisper to the hiders

there,

"Olly, olly, oxen free..."

They follow me home, down mirrored corridors

where, too often, I see the black cowl and

scythe of me own reflection.

" 아흔아홉, 백! 준비됐지? 이제 찾는다!"

나는 "술래"가 되기 싫다. 그렇다고 내가 그들을

못 찾는 것도 아니다. 어두운 방으로 들어서면서

나는 그곳에 숨어 있는 친구들에게 속삭인다.

" 못 찾겠다. 꾀꼬리, 이제 그만 나와라."

그들은 나를 따라 거울로 된 복도를 따라

집으로 간다.

거기서 나는 거울에 비친, 검은 수사복에

큰 낫을 든 내 모습을 너무나 자주 본다.
