Outside the blizzard raged, while inside

the fire hissed and popped. He sat watching

the flames dance.

Frozen they found him with dismembered

limbs stacked neatly in the fireplace.

In darkened rooms above lay the bodies of

his wife and children. Crimson-orbed eyes

of Windigo, the essence of madness, glowed

faintly in the shadows.
